What we collect

We only collect and process the information we need to deliver our services and run the business:

Name, job title and contact details (email, phone)
Company details (name, CVR or company number, industry, website)
Information you share with us for certification, matching or a partnership
Data about how you use our website (cookies, IP address, device type, browser, interactions)

We do not collect sensitive personal data.

Why we use it

We use the information to:

Screen and certify agencies
Match companies and agencies
Run and deliver our services, including support
Communicate about agreements, the Security Fund and follow-up
Analyse and improve our website and marketing
Comply with the law, for example bookkeeping rules

Tracking and cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience and to target our ads. These include:

Google Analytics and Google Ads, for statistics and advertising
Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for ad targeting
LinkedIn Ads, for reaching business customers
Other standard web analytics and marketing tools

Cookies can contain information such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.

Our legal basis

We process information on the following grounds under the GDPR:

Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Legal obligation, for example bookkeeping (Art. 6(1)(c))
Your consent to cookies and marketing (Art. 6(1)(a))
Our legitimate interest in running and developing B-Mærket (Art. 6(1)(f))

Who we share it with

We only share information when it is necessary:

With the agencies or companies you are matched with
With our suppliers of IT, hosting, accounting and marketing (for example Google and Meta)
When we are legally required to

We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose:

Customer relationships: up to 5 years after the partnership ends, as required by Danish bookkeeping law
Certification data: deleted no later than 12 months after the certification ends
Contact details: deleted when you no longer want to hear from us
Cookies: deleted when they expire, typically after 30 days to 2 years

Security

We protect your information with technical and organisational measures against misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Your rights

You have the right to:

See the information we hold about you
Have incorrect information corrected
Have information deleted, with some legal exceptions
Restrict or object to our processing
Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format (data portability)
